Shei Yu (she/they) is the Getty Marrow Exhibitions and Programs Intern at One Institute.

Shei is a recent graduate from Pomona College with a BA in Anthropology. Her senior thesis on the ephemerality of queer zines considers the politics of visibility and the aesthetics of erasure. Prior to joining One Institute, Shei interned at the LA Review of Books and worked on podcasts for the World Music Foundation.

Shei strives to support queer and Asian communities in telling stories from their own experiences. Shei lives with her partner and their cat, Zorro, in Los Angeles.
