Our 2024 Youspeak Radio Listening Party is a culmination event that uplifts the work of this year’s Youspeak Radio youth participants, who have been leading conversations with adult trailblazers within the LGBTQ+ community. Since March, these high school students have acquired skills in oral history interviewing and audio storytelling through a series of workshops. Together, we will listen to snippets of the students’ podcast episodes and hear their reflections on this experience.
Youspeak Radio’s third season will feature conversations with Donna Sachet, Jewelle Gomez, Joey Terrill, Judy Abdo, L. Frank, and Marcus Arana.
This virtual listening party will take place on Thursday, July 25, 5pm PT / 7pm CT. Register today and tune in for the personal and insightful sounds of intergenerational dialogues.
